The Parents and Toddlers Group provides a variety of activities for children, refreshments and a singing time at the end. Along side this there is ample opportunity for the mothers or minders to chat and make friends. We feel that this facility fulfils a need in the community, and it is good for our Church building to be made accessible to people in the area. (Members of our group have attended the visitor services and other special events during the year.) We are thankful to God for the people who come regularly to help, for those who come occasionally and those who help with "setting up" or "packing away". We are also thankful for the fellowship we enjoy as we work together and for the way the children have been kept safe during the year.
Our "Mums' Night Out" was held in the spring as usual. We had a good attendance last year and everyone had a good time. Our speaker demonstrated "crafts for children" in a really inspiring way and everyone joined in the card making competition. As she went along she talked about the importance of teaching our children about God, with particular reference to the Easter story. We had a party at Christmas and each child was given a Bible storybook and a card with a tract in it.
