Denis Auld (Secretary)
Denis became a Christian in 1980, was baptised in 1981 and married Irene in 1986.
He has three daughters, Catherine, Carolyn and Bethany, a female dog Ellie. He is certain that the goldfish is female, judging by its waterproof lipstick, and a proud owner of over 10 mirrors and 7 hairdryers due to above.
Became a member of Carrick Baptist in 1996, and was appointed as a deacon in 2006 followed by battleground promotion to church secretary at the first office bearers meeting. Was not really a fight, just no other volunteers.
Denis counts it a joy to have been a Sunday school teacher for over 27 years as well as involvement with Holiday Bible Clubs and is also the church Health and Safety co-ordinator.
He has been a Fire fighter for over 20 years and is actively involved with Fire Fighters for Christ in Northern Ireland, which encourages Christian fire fighters to live their lives for Christ and avoid anonymity in the workplace.
Played rugby for 22 years but decided to let other younger men have a go on the firsts before slipping into mediocrity and retirement (through injury).
Likes to watch Manchester United, and holidays with the family - in Manchester.
