Children Protection at CB Kids
We take child protection very seriously at Carrickfergus Baptist Church and as such have set in place a series of policies and procedures to ensure that your child is safe when they are in our care. Each volunteer is put through a vetting system before being allowed to work with children and once a year they are expected to attend a child protection training and information evening. The main church policy on child protection is:
“It is the policy of Carrickfergus Baptist Church to provide the highest possible quality care for children, young people and vulnerable adults and to endeavour to safeguard the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults by protecting them from physical, sexual and emotional harm.”
Why do we run CB Kids?
As Christians we want to share the good news that Jesus Christ has paid the price for the wrong things in each of our lives (Romans 6:23). We are passionate to share this message with everyone and as Jesus showed us (Matthew 19:14) we know that children need to hear the message also.
